About the blog!

Mistilteinn (Miss – tell – taint) , a possible icelandic translation of mistletoe, represents a sword in one of the stories of norse mythology.

From the earliest times mistletoe has been one of the most magical, mysterious, and sacred plants of European folklore. It was considered to bestow life and fertility; a protection against poison; and an aphrodisiac. To me, it represents a form of affection, as well as a form of mysterious intelligence that is commonly associated with Celtic magic.

A form of affection, because it is truly a place where I berate myself, where i think through things myself, where i reflect my life, where i put my heart into so people can see a little bit more. ( Heh, not like anyone will see it. But I still write. I’m not ego, but perhaps deep in my heart I do wish I can talk to someone. Perhaps. :P )

A bit of myserious intelligence, perhaps from my daily musings of human feelings and life. Sometimes, I try to come up with nonsense poems, I come up with iffy theories of life. I come up with emo posts or potential revolutionary thoughts. They’re not all wonderful or anything, but they show a bit of life in them, significant aspects of it. To the modern world, we rush so fast across the streets everyday that we hardly stop and ponder about a bit of life. I’m not doing much, but maybe one day, maybe I can get one of you to think a bit about it. To ponder about the mystery.

My blog is infrequently updated purely at my whims. But then again, my blog isn’t your average ” Oh I just had this hot date with this guy” kind of blog. Not really. I really hate those.
