Theory #2 – The Fuel Theory

Err…not quite. This rocket fuel has got nothing to do with hydrazine….or Oxygen…or Petroleum..or any other flammable solids you learn in chemistry lesson. This one has got to do with the human psyche!
Wow, i must be a total genius to be able to link fuel up with the human psyche!
So i was just walking alone the streets on a Sunday when i suddenly thought of this theory:
The Human Mind uses many different kinds of fuel; different fuel has different capabilities and the ability to maxmise fuel usage will cause maximum output in practical situations.
By integrating this theory with the theory of equivalent exchange, we get:
The Human Mind uses many different kinds of fuel; different fuel has different capabilities and the ability to maxmise fuel usage will cause maximum output in practical situations. Because each fuel has different capabilities, powerful fuels will contain a potential of negative drawbacks in exchange for a more powerful impact on the human psyche.

Of course, that’d probably look like hogwash to everyone so let me explain it in detail.
Now, everyone uses different kinds of motivation in life. Because we experience different events and have different interests, we excavate our past events and interests for energy in order to start a new chain of events.
Perhaps some of us gets inspired by ” inserts random imba zai kia who swam for 30km a day every day and can even mug and get a rhodes scholar and is now some imba banker with 3 kids earning billions a month” and has aspirations of walking in his path, and they thus use that energy as a fuel into every action that will ultimately lead him there. We use the inspiration and the hope of the person as the fuel for our goal.
Some of us are a little better. Perhaps we are born with a desire to do certain things. In this case, we use such a desire as our inborn fuel and we go all out for it, using our passion as a motivating factor.
Such motivations are widely recognised as good ones, and they are innocent yet motivating. But will they last? That would depend very much on the willpower of the person. Yet, the human mind ironically is not impervious to all situations which are designed to put us off course. Many a times we rush recklessly only to realize we have been going in a mad run chase, and then we fall into an endless fog, losing our initial aim. While i am not saying that positive motivations here is absolutely useless, i am saying that its effects are limited to some degree, and must be complemented by some other motivational force.
On the other extreme, there are people who use vices ,such as the seven deadly sins, as a form of motivation. While many people will damn me for this, but we must admit that this is very true in today’s society. Because of the point that creed as a whole is a better pushing factor, we see that it potentially drives people further and faster. Because of pride, we throw in our lives to study like mad just to reach the pinnacle. Because of greed we cut down people obstructing us relentlessly that are in our way. Embracing the vices, means you also use it to your own advantage.
While I have no qualms in doing so, I do not deny that it is a trade off. Apart from the ” I’m going to hell and stay stuck on river styx because I don’t have a damn penny buried with me” thingy, They do manipulate your mind to some extent. How they do it is not for me to judge, because there are some with full capability and mental ability to control it, while others just crumble due to sheer pain and inhumanity.
Sometimes, there isn’t really a black or a white, or perhaps even a grey. What is grey to you will decide on how you percieve it as so.
PS: Pls give constructive comments. I know people will flame me for this. Just because you don’t think in the same frequency as I do doesn’t give you the right to flame it. You can treat it as hogwash all you like, just don’t voice it out. I am so sick of people who acted smart and gave cynical comments just because they can’t think in the same frequency.
